International Tour Standards
Official EuroElite Tour Guidelines & Ethics
Based on ITF Advanced Coach Guidelines and over 40 years of international touring experience. Please read these expectations carefully before joining any European tournament tour.
1. Introduction & Core Touring Principles
- •Recent Training Requirement: All tour players must have trained with EuroElite within 6 months of the tour start date. This ensures our coaches know your player's game, temperament, and tactical needs.
- •Performance Over Outcome: Coaches reward effort, fighting spirit, and tactical courage. Results are the natural reward for high-level execution.
- •Learning Attitude: Players must be receptive to tournament concepts and nightly match charting evaluations.
2. Coach Responsibilities & Supervised Care
EuroElite provides 24/7 chaperone care and logistics management:
- •Tournament liaison with referees for draws, practice court bookings, and friendly consolation matches.
- •Daily pre-match scouting, tactical game plan development, on-court warm-ups, and match charting.
- •Nightly team meetings and tactical theory sessions.
- •Complete verbal evaluation after the tour (plus written evaluations for tours of 2+ weeks).
3. Player Responsibilities & Independence
- •Tournament Sign-In: Players must be on time for tournament sign-in and team departures.
- •Doubles Responsibility: Singles is managed by EuroElite; doubles partner search and sign-in is the sole responsibility of the player (encouraging communication and independence, except for U12s).
- •Dress Code: Match-play shirts required for all official matches (no loose t-shirts during tournament ties).
- •Equipment: Players are responsible for rackets (min. 3), strings, grips, and water.
4. Parent Responsibilities & Communication Rules
- •Trust the Process: Parents must avoid contacting on-tour coaches during the tour except in extreme family emergencies. Encourage your player to communicate directly with staff.
- •Calling Limit: Players are allowed one call/SMS per day (two calls for players 12 and under). Mobile phones are collected every night.
- •Sufficient Funds: Ensure players have pocket money for meals and restringing.
5. Disciplinary Procedures & Misconduct
EuroElite maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol, drugs, bullying, racket abuse, or curfew violations.
- •Level 1 Offense: Verbal warning and tactical conditioning consequences.
- •Level 2 Offense: Immediate call to parents and temporary suspension from match play.
- •Level 3 Offense (Severe): Player is sent home immediately at parents' expense with no refund.
