Cancellation Policy & Terms

<p>EuroElite operates high-performance camps and international tournament tours with small player-to-coach ratios (typically 3:1 to 4:1) and pre-booked facilities, courts, and accommodation. When a spot is reserved, substantial costs and administrative planning are committed well in advance.</p><p>Our cancellation terms are designed to be fair, legally compliant with Swedish consumer regulations, and transparent for all families across Scandinavia.</p>

<p>Under the <strong>Swedish Distance Contracts Act</strong> (<em>Lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler</em>), if a registration and agreement are completed remotely (via website, email, or telephone) with our Swedish registered company (EuroElite Camps AB), a <strong>14-day statutory right of withdrawal</strong> applies from the date of booking confirmation.</p><p>If you cancel within this 14-day window prior to the event commencement, you receive a full refund with no administrative deduction.</p>

<p>According to the <strong>Swedish Consumer Agency</strong> (<em>Konsumentverket</em>) guidelines and established Swedish practice, the following terms apply when cancellation occurs outside the 14-day statutory window but well in advance of the camp/tour start date:</p><ul><li><strong>Administrative Fee:</strong> The organizer has the legal right to charge a reasonable administrative fee (typically between <strong>150 SEK and 500 SEK</strong>, or <strong>10–35% of the camp fee</strong>) to cover incurred banking, registration processing, and administrative handling costs.</li><li><strong>Economic Damage Offset:</strong> If a purchased training service is cancelled, the organizer retains the right to offset actual economic damages and non-recoverable outlays incurred in securing the spot.</li></ul>

<p>The closer to the event start date a cancellation occurs, the more difficult it is to find a replacement tournament player from the waitlist.</p><p>In accordance with the <strong>Swedish Consumer Services Act</strong> (<em>Konsumenttjänstlagen</em> — <em>Avbeställning av vara eller tjänst</em>):</p><ul><li>If a cancellation occurs so close to the event date that the spot cannot be filled by another player, EuroElite retains a fee covering administrative costs plus all <strong>locked-in non-recoverable expenses</strong> (including pre-paid court hours, contracted coach salaries, coach travel/flights, and booked player accommodation/meals).</li><li>If a replacement player can be arranged from the official waitlist, only the standard administrative processing fee (150–500 SEK) will apply.</li></ul>

<p>We understand that competitive athletes can suffer unforeseen illness or acute sports injuries prior to an event.</p><ul><li><strong>Medical Certificate Policy:</strong> If a player cannot participate due to documented medical reasons and provides a valid <strong>Medical Certificate (<em>Läkarintyg</em>)</strong> from a certified physician prior to the camp start date, EuroElite offers:<ul><li>A <strong>75% refund</strong> of the camp training fee, OR</li><li>A <strong>100% training credit</strong> transferable to any alternative EuroElite camp within a <strong>24-month (2-year) period</strong>.</li></ul></li><li><em>Note:</em> Non-refundable third-party expenses already disbursed (such as airline tickets, hotel reservations, or tournament entry fees) cannot be refunded by EuroElite and should be claimed through the family’s personal travel/home insurance policy.</li></ul>

<p>The EuroElite PRIME+ and Basic Membership programs represent an elite, mutual commitment throughout the tennis year (September 1 to September 1). Every year our programs are fully booked with a waiting list of motivated juniors.</p><ul><li><strong>No Cash Refunds for Voluntary Quits:</strong> We do not issue cash refunds for players who choose to discontinue or quit during the season. We teach players that athletic commitments matter.</li><li><strong>Relocation Exception:</strong> If a family permanently <strong>moves away from Scandinavia</strong>, EuroElite will review and consider pro-rata refunds.</li><li><strong>24-Month Camp Flexibility:</strong> If a player cannot attend their scheduled camp date, funds are not lost — families may reschedule for alternative camps across a <strong>2-year (24-month) window</strong>.</li><li><strong>Transferability:</strong> Parents may transfer or sell their camp spot or remaining deposit to another qualified junior player with the express written consent of EuroElite management.</li></ul>
